• Wireless DJ on iPad, your controller may look outdated within a year

Many dreamt of tactile interfaces becoming the de facto standard for DJing for years. There have been many dedicated projects, with some proof of concepts, but the real deal will probably come from iPad and other recent tablets. Djay already paved the way for standalone DJing applications, but this is not the kind of tools most DJs will use in real live conditions. Controllers for professional software will make more sense for this purpose, as long as latency is acceptable over WiFi (and WiFi is reliable on stage). Wireless DJ (App Store) is one of the first interesting one, with a limited set of controls so far, but doing the job. We can only hope for extra features in future version
